If you don’t understand the way Davido works, you will hardly make it in business. He can take any amount to perform in Nigeria just to connect with his home base fans, but when he’s out, his price is really high. This year alone, Davido has sold out more international arenas and shows worldwide than many Nigerian artists, including Wizkid, have done in their entire career. He was out every single month performing in different countries and even bought a private jet just to carry himself and his team around for his shows.

Hurricane EFCC sweeps up 792 suspected fra¥dsters in a historic cybercrime arrest. The EFCC says it has carried out its largest single-day operation against cryptocurrency and romance sc+m networks, arresting 792 suspects in Lagos. In a press conference on Monday, December 16, 2024, EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, said the arrests took place at a seven-storey building in Victoria Island, Lagos. Uwujaren said the suspects include 114 Chinese nationals, 40 Filipinos, two Khazartans, one Pakistani, and one Indonesian. He said the foreigners were using the building to “train Nigerians on how to initiate romance and investment sc+ms”. The EFCC spokesperson added that the foreigners created fake profiles for their Nigerian accomplices to engage in romance and cryptocurrency sc+ms.
