🗣️ "That is so poor, you cannot do that. I am actually fuming with Martinelli. Honestly, I don’t know how the Liverpool players didn’t go over and absolutely whack him to be honest with you. That's disgraceful." Gary Neville absolutely ripped into Gabriel Martinelli for his awful sportsmanship during Arsenal vs Liverpool 🤬 Firstly, the Brazilian dropped the ball on Conor Bradley, who has just gone down injured. Then, he forcefully tried to shove him off the pitch, whilst the Liverpool star was lying on the floor in considerable pain, despite it being clear Bradley had suffered a really bad injury. Bradley was subsequently stretchered off in clear distress 🚑 Martinelli should be ashamed of himself 😡

On October 14, 1964, a powerful Olympic moment unfolded in Tokyo when a runner who finished last captured nationwide attention and a standing ovation that would echo for generations 🏟️✨ Ranatunge Karunananda of Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, lined up for the men’s 10,000 meters wearing uniform number 67. Ill, in visible pain, and running one full lap behind the leaders, he kept moving long after the race was decided. At first the crowd jeered, confused by why he would continue. But as he pushed through every agonizing step, something shifted in the stadium. What happened next became a significant milestone in Olympic history. The boos turned into silence, then applause, and finally a deafening standing ovation from 70,000 people. Karunananda crossed the finish line dead last, but he was celebrated like a champion. His perseverance represented meaningful change in how people understood victory, not as winning a medal, but as honoring effort, sacrifice, and human dignity. After the race, Karunananda explained why he refused to stop. He spoke of his young daughter back home and of a poor nation that had sacrificed to send him to the Olympics. Japan was so moved that his story, titled Uniform Number 67, was placed in elementary school textbooks and retold to millions of children, becoming a widely praised lesson in resilience and character. Decades later, his legacy sparked remarkable progress across generations. In 2016, his granddaughter arrived in Japan to study, discovering her grandfather was still remembered. Inspired by his words, she stayed, became a care worker, and committed herself to giving back, living proof that one powerful moment can create a positive impact that lasts far beyond a single race. #News #Olympics #fblifestyle

🚨Earth is being hit by a solar storm right now. NOAA has issued a Geomagnetic Storm Watch for this Friday, January 9, as Earth braces for a one-two punch of solar activity: a Coronal Hole High-Speed Stream (CH HSS) and a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). These solar events launch charged particles and magnetic fields toward our planet — and when they arrive, they can stir up brilliant auroras, disrupt satellite systems, and even cause power grid fluctuations. This storm is forecast to reach G1 on the 5-point space weather scale — considered minor, but still powerful enough to push the Northern Lights farther south than usual. If conditions hold, auroras could be visible as far south as Illinois and Oregon. CMEs are massive bursts of plasma and magnetic field ejected from the Sun’s corona. Some reach Earth in just 15–18 hours, expanding to nearly a quarter of the space between us and the Sun. When they interact with Earth’s magnetic field, they can cause stunning auroral displays — or serious technological issues. Even minor geomagnetic storms can disrupt satellite communications, interfere with GPS accuracy, and affect spacecraft electronics. In more extreme cases, they’ve been known to induce currents in power lines strong enough to damage transformers. The storm arriving this week is not expected to match the strength of the late 2025 event that lit up skies across the U.S. — but it’s another reminder that space weather isn’t science fiction. It’s happening, and it’s headed our way. 📸Credit: SDO

Will my parents come back to get me? I remember asking Officer Lewis this repeatedly. I was 5, scared and didn’t understand where my parents had gone. I just held on his sleeve like it was the only thing I trusted. No relatives came to pick me up I sat in a quiet room with a blanket, and Lewis would appear every day. He brought snacks, crayons, and a calm voice that made me feel safe. He applied to adopt me a few months later. I called him "dad" on my own before anyone else asked me to. He learned how to braid my hair, prepare my snacks, and attend every school event. At my graduation today, I looked for him the same way I did back then. I saw your smile and everything was okay again. He didnt just take me in He raised me up #family stories #graduation day #fblifestyle #AI

When a crow feels ill or weak, it resorts to a strange yet brilliant behavior rooted in the depths of nature. Instead of seeking a predator or prey, it looks for an ant colony. This is not for hunting, but rather to allow the ants to crawl across its body. The crow spreads its wings and descends upon the ants, shifting its body slightly before settling into a fixed position. As the ants move through the feathers, they secrete formic acid, which acts as a powerful natural disinfectant. This chemical serves to kill bacteria, parasites, and mites that might be plaguing the bird. This behavior is scientifically known as Anthing. It is a natural remedy passed down through generations of birds. The crow knows exactly what it is doing; it is utilizing the ants' defense mechanism as a personal pharmacy. Some crows even take this process a step further by picking up individual ants with their beaks and rubbing them directly onto specific feathers, much like a human would apply a topical ointment or medicine.

A billionaire car enthusiast recently lifted a McLaren Senna GTR 57 stories into a Melbourne penthouse. Since this track-only supercar is not road-legal, it was installed inside a $27 million apartment to serve as a permanent and record-breaking artistic showpiece. The installation process required removing several windows and sections of the high-rise building. A massive crane carefully hoisted the vehicle into the residence, a feat the owner described as an ambitious art project that truly pushed the boundaries of luxury living. This bold move quickly captured global attention, highlighting how elite collectors view supercars as more than just transportation. For many, these incredible machines represent the ultimate symbols of lifestyle, personal expression, and high-end design within a modern architectural setting. #McLarenSenna #LuxuryLifestyle #SupercarArt

The social worker looked at them as if they had already failed a test. Two Gothic Teenagers Eighteen years. Out of savings. A small room in the basement And my mother had been told she could not have a child of her own. Most family ignored me for wheelchair. My parents said they wanted a child they could actually be present for. Not a perfect combination. A real one. When they saw my picture, they said I looked like somebody who needed stable people. That's why they asked for me Just by myself They came on through for me They knelt next to my chair My mom said " hey Kelly "My father asked if I wanted to go out. No pressure. Without a fake voice. Only real people talking to me not around me No one had done this all day. I made it to my mother's sleeve That was good enough for them. And then they kept popping up Every visit. Every class. Each and every form. They learned ramps, belts, lifts and all the routines other families avoided. They moved the whole room so I could move around without asking. Growing up they never treated my chair like a barrier. They treated me just like their son And years later, they sat on the front row of my wedding, crying as if they finally saw the life they've built. #familylove #chairstrength #fblifestyle #AI

U.S. forces on Wednesday seized two oil tankers, one in the North Atlantic and the other in the Caribbean, as part of the Trump administration’s blockade of Venezuela’s oil exports. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. will take between 30 million and 50 million barrels of oil and sell it on the open market, with the money then controlled by the U.S. and dispersed in a way he said would benefit the Venezuelan people rather than corruption or the regime. Democrats criticized the plan, with Sen. Chris Murphy calling it “insane” and accusing the administration of stealing Venezuelan oil at gunpoint to micromanage the country.
