24 year old teaching assistant stand trial for sleeping with a 15yr old school girl, 14 times

A 24 year old teaching assistant Hamid Bhatti, allegedly slept with a 15 year old year ten pupil 14 times after grooming her while on a work placement at her school, a court heard on Monday.

According to the court hearing, Bhatti was caught having a fling with the then 15-year-old schoolgirl after her mother found his love note saying, “You were amazing last night as always”.

The girl, had developed a “crush” on him and thought he was “good looking” after seeing him in an art lesson before he lavished her with love notes and jewellery before having sex with her on his bedroom floor while her her teenage friend slept in his bed, prosecutors claim

Bhatti who has a thick black beard and long hair also told her he loved her and gave her a necklace, money and a cushion with ‘I love you’ written on it, the court heard.

He's been charged with five counts of sexual activity with a child at least 14 times between May 2014 and February 2015, but he denies all the charges.

He's also denied an extra charge of child abduction after the girl went missing and he allegedly ignored an order made by police banning him from having any contact with the girl.

Prosecuting counsel, Lee Bremridge said:

“The Crown says that he knew full well how old the girl was. A sexual relationship between them started in May 2014 when he worked at the school and she was a pupil. That sexual relationship continued throughout later 2014 into 2015, which is why she was prepared to lie to the police and tell them that nothing happened when she was interviewed. It was because they were in a relationship together and she was protecting him.

Even after he was sacked by the school, the girl and Bhatti, maintained that they had never slept together, while Bhatti claiming the girl was “pestering” him.

Mr Brembridge continued:

“She said that although she had a crush on Hamid Bhatti and had stayed at his house, they never had sex. The girl was clearly protecting them because the two of them were having a sexual relationship and they didn’t want anyone, particularly the police or her parents, to find out.”

In October 2014, the girl’s mum called police after finding a handwritten note among her daughter’s belongings.

Bhatti, who currently lives in Rochdale, Yorks., allegedly wrote: “Hey baby, I’m sorry I had to leave this morning for work. You were amazing last night as always.

“I hope you get this message and leave me a note. Plan to see you soon. I love you. P.s. don’t forget to go to the doctors.”

Police after searching his bedroom discovered a used condom with the girl's DNA found in the semen sample.

Bhatti was arrested and charged with having sexual activity with a minor in June 2015, after the girl finally told police the “whole truth”.

Bhatti admits sleeping with the girl in February 2015 but denies knowing she was underage at the time.

The trial continues.

Am not really a fan of Young artistes and why is because they lack being humble, believe me wale is one of the most humble young artiste have ever came across.

I got to hear him through a colleague of mine, he asked “Do you know Wale Turner?” with a quick reply to his question I said “NO, who is he?” Then he went on keep praising him that the dude is good and all that.

I was like good? And I have never heard of him? He then told me to check him out on Instagram.

As a lover and supporter of good music I did checked him out, and I was amaze how talented this guy is. Just a freestyle I watched made me a fan already, From Good lyrics, word play and versatility. Then I wondered why is his name not everywhere already? Does he not meet to the requirements of record label owners ? Well that’s a story for another day. cos he’s

The dude who didn’t let all that stop him has already created a fan base for himself already on Instagram having over a 30,000 followers.

I won’t be surprise if he takes over the music industry in no time cause he has all it takes to.

He recently dropped a nice tune titled “NO” which would soon be a street anthem in no time.

"The World's Ugliest Woman" Lizzie Velasquez is fighting back...in a different way

American motivational speaker, anti-bullying activist and author, Lizzie Velasquez was dubbed the 'World's Ugliest Woman" in a video posted on YouTube when she was 17. She has a rare congenital disease which among other symptoms, prevents her from accumulating body fat. The condition resulted in bullying during her childhood and early youth.

The 27-year-old from Austin, Texas, who has spoken out against bullying, was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome by the Baylor College of Medicine. She has zero percent body fat and is medically unable to gain weight. Additionally, she is blind in in her right eye and vision-impaired in her left eye. Doctors told her parents, at birth that she would never speak or walk. The doctors were wrong. In fact, at 27, she does both professionally. HuffPost described her as a "seasoned motivational speaker and a "self-professed pacer" while she speaks on stage"

"There were many times where I was so frustrated and angry. I didn’t know who to blame or who to get angry at. I made every birthday wish, I lit every candle at church and did every prayer before bed. I said ‘God, please take this all away from me. Please make me normal,"  Velasquez told the crowd during one of her speaking engagements last year.

Velasquez has written two books, 'Be Beautiful, Be You and 'Choosing Happiness' directed towards teenagers, which share personal stories from her life and offer advice and talks about obstacles she has faced in her life and how she's learned the importance of choosing to be happy when it's all too easy to give up.

Growing up in Texas, Velasquez was teased, gawked at or sometimes downright ignored. She remembers her first day of kindergarten and noticing for the first time in her life that other kids were scared of her. She went home and asked her parents what was wrong with her.

"I credit my parents’ answer with why I’m able to do what I do today," she said to HuffPost. When I asked them what was wrong with me they said there’s nothing wrong with you. The only difference is that you’re smaller than the other kids. They told me we are going to love you and support you and help you reach every dream you have," she added.

Her parents treated her like everyone else. But the world did not. Velasquez remembers going to amusement parks and feeling like an attraction. Groups of adults would stop mid-conversation and stare at her. She refused to go to water parks because she couldn’t stand to be in a bathing suit in public.

A documentary film based on her life which is entitled A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story, premiered at SXSW last year and is set to premiere on Lifetime on October 17th, 2016. The optimistic young woman took to Instagram five days ago to write about the birth of the documentary.

"I still remember the day we hung up giant post it notes on a wall and brainstormed what would be needed to bring @abraveheartfilm life. I remember our cheers of happiness as each of you gave so generously of your time and money to help our team. I remember the day we realized this project was so much larger than us. I want to congratulate not only our Brave Heart team but everyone who has watched, shared, and helped give a voice to those who needed the help. On October 17th at 8pm PT/ET, our documentary will make its television debut on @lifetimetv! Here's to us remembering the day we helped bring awareness to the possibility of coming out on the other side of bullying"
