Dancer, Kaffy Reveals Career-Threatening Injury She Got After Son’s Birth

 

Dance instructor, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, known as Kaffy, has revealed that she suffered a terrifying injury after childbirth.

She shared a picture of herself and her son doing a full split, citing how she had the injury after his birth.

“After my son’s birth, had major groin injury,” the dance queen said, adding that “I could hardly walk at first not to talk of try to open my legs. So getting into my splits again was not funny.”

The mother of two revealed that her son’s interests in doing the splits inspired her recovery.

“He has motivated and inspired me through the excruciating pain because of his everyday ‘mummy see my split syndrome. Now am almost there.”

Kaffy and SeanThe dancer performed at the 2013 MTN Project Fame with her 5-month-old baby bump and the ‘Magneto’ performance was so show-stopping, it dominated conversations on social media for many days.

Now, Sean is towing his mother’s path while the proud mum works on recovering from the career-threatening injury she suffered after his birth.
