Popular music producer has walked out on Capital Hill Records after spending years with the label. It can be recalled that beautiful singer, Chidinma Ekile earlier this year walked out on Capital Hill Records as well. Suspect is kicking off his own music label which he called ‘AnyHow Records’ as he also revealed that he is at peace with his former label. He shared a tweet yesterday via his Twitter page confirming his exit.

  President Muhammadu Buhari has observed that those blowing up oil installations in the Niger Delta region are not ordinary Nigerians. Buhari explained that the sophistication the vandals employed in blowing up oil pipelines was an indication that they were experts in the field. He stated this after his investiture as the Grand Patron of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, NAE, led by its President, Joana Maduka, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday. The President noted that a situation where vandals go deep into the sea for almost 70 kilometers to destroy pipelines with ease, suggested they were professionals. According to Buhari, “How can ordinary Nigerians go into the deep sea almost 70 kilometers to blow installations, they are not ordinary Nigerians. So you have to talk to your members.”

The acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State, has slumped and died at a hotel in Ughelli during alleged sex romp with an unidentified female teenager. The rector was said to have slumped at his hotel room in Zekoh Place located at Onoharigho street, Ughelli and was rushed to a private clinic, few kilometers from the hotel were he was confirmed dead on arrival. “He had gone to the hotel in company of a female teenager and booked a room for an hour of love session with the girl,” a source at the Ughelli Area Command told Vanguard. INEC has declared APC candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu, winner of the Ondo state governorship election held yesterday November 26th. According to INEC's returning officer, Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, Akeredolu pulled off 244,842 votes to defeat PDP's Eyitatyo Jegede with 150,380 votes and Olusola Oke of the AD who scored 126,889 votes.

Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basketmouth’s mother has been laid to rest. She passed away on October 3rd after a brief illness and was buried this weekend in Abia State. May her soul continue to rest in peace, amen. More photos below:

More than two months after popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, AKA Basketmouth, was robbed in his home at Lekki, Lagos, the police have apprehended the suspects and paraded them before journalists at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja. The leader of the three-man gang who attacked Basketmouth, 24-year-old Chibuzor Ugwu, explained that they simply stumbled on the comedian’s house during their robbery spree on September 7. Ugwu, an Enugu State indigene living in Anambra State but came to Lagos regularly on the sole mission of carrying out robberies, explained that he was an internet fraudster for three years before he ventured into robbery.
