What is Glaucoma:- Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage to your eye's optic nerve and gets worse over time. It's often associated with a buildup of pressure inside the eye. Glaucoma tends to be inherited and may not show up until later in life. Miss Glamour Queen Africa has Six (6) Major Goals which are :-
1. Miss glamour queen Africa is set out to sensitise everyone across Africa and the world at large about the great danger cause by an infection called "GLAUCOMA" which is one of the fast rising eye infection in Africa presently it has be stated that over 2.7 million people have this eye infection in Africa and it is said to increase rapidly in 2020 which might cause lost of sight. That why this pageant has be setup to work towards creating awareness of such infection in Africa .
2 Miss Glamour Queen Africa is also setup to make beautiful intelligent courageous young ladies Queens that will be on tour around africa and also who will be able to sensitize people about this infection across Africa .
3.It is also a pageant that is endorsed by the World Health Organisation (W.H.O)and also Glaucoma Research Foundation(GRF) to give out free treatment across Africa and free medical check for such infection.
4.Miss glamour Queen Africa Has a high standards for human health and is ready to make every single African know what are the cause of such infection how and when to know if u have such infection or who has such infection with all medium we can use to reach out .
5.It is also a Registered Beauty Pageant under the Cooperate Affairs commission (C.A.C) which give every single Queen who will be crowned the privilege to be Nationally recognized When campaign begins in Nigeria Next year Before we move to the next Country
6.Miss Glamour Queen Africa is also setup to give Young woman A voice to speak and save life's that are infected with this infection around Africa . Queens will be aired live on ITV,AIT and Gone TV ghana .
