Malcolm Omirhobo reacts after a Soldier expressed willingness to avenge the death of his colleagues

Malcolm Omirhobo, a human rights lawyer, has expressed concern that many soldiers in the Nigerian army may not have a thorough understanding of the situations they are being asked to participate in. In one particular instance, Egitanghan G, a Nigerian soldier, expressed his willingness to join an operation seeking to avenge the death of his colleagues in Okuama, Delta state. Omirhobo believes that this demonstrates the level of ignorance present within the ranks of the Nigerian army, from the highest to the lowest levels. On his Verified X page, Omirhobo said, "For a Nigerian soldier identified as Egitanghan G,to to express his willingness to be part of any operation seeking to avenge the death of his colleagues in Okuama, Delta state show the level of ignorance of many Soldiers in the Nigerian army from.top to bottom . The Nigerian army needs proper education and reorientation . It is dangerous and unsafe for government to arm an ignorant person with gun bought with tax payers money .@HQNigerianArmy , @DefenceInfoNG."
