President-elect Trump spoke with President Biden on the phone, with Biden congratulating him on his victory and inviting him to the White House for a smooth transition.
Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung stated:
"President Trump looks forward to the meeting, which will take place shortly, and very much appreciated the call."
This will be the first time the two have been together since the 9/11 memorial ceremony in September.
