Two suspects, Vicki Lyn Stuart and Sally Jane Maxedon, have been arrested in Mesa County, CO, on charges related to stolen ballots, including identity theft, forgery, and attempt to influence a public servant.
Stuart, a former USPS worker, allegedly intercepted ballots on her mail route, which were then falsely completed and submitted by Maxedon.
At least three forged ballots were counted before Mesa County election officials removed them from the final tally.
Investigators say there may be more than 20 victims affected.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is analyzing the seized ballots for potential fingerprint evidence.
