He is arguably one of the richest and most valuable musicians in Africa. In 2024, Nigerian singer Mr Eazi's private payment company PawaPay has recorded $1 billion in transaction volume in just 3½ years, surpassing PayPal, which achieved the same milestone in 5 years, and Stripe, which did so in 7 years. In 2021, Mr Eazi co-founded PawaPay, a UK-based, Africa-focused company, and raised $9 million in seed investment. He has developed a housing estate in Kigali, Rwanda, worth over 5 billion Naira. Mr Eazi also holds shares in the South African basketball club, Cape Town Tigers, and is the CEO of B£tPawa, which has a $6 million sponsorship deal with the Ghana Premier League. He owns emPawa, Banku Music, Zagadat Capital, and co-founded PawaPay. He is married to Temi Otedola, the second daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, one of the wealthiest and most respected entrepreneurs in Africa. Mr Eazi is truly a visionary.
