Sheikh Bashir bin Ahmed Siddiq (May Allah have mercy on him), one of the senior teachers of the Glorious Qur’an and its recitations at Al-Masjid An-Nabawi Madinah passed away yesterday. Sheikh Bashir dedicated nearly sixty years of his life to serving the Noble Qur’an in the Prophet’s Masjeed, where countless students studied under him. Among his most distinguished students were: 1) Global famous reciter, Sheikh Muhammad Ayyoub (former Imam at the Masjeed Annaabiy). May Allah have mercy on him. 2) Sheikh Ali Jaabir – (former Imam of the Two Holy Mosques). may Allah have mercy on him. 3) Sheikh Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Shanqiti, Member of the Council of Senior Scholars. 4) Sheikh Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim (Imam of Al-Masjeed An-Nabawiy) 5) Sheikh Salah Al-Budair (Imam of Al-Masjid An-Nabawi). The late Sheikh was regarded as a cornerstone in Qur’anic education at the Prophet’s Mosque, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and students who continue to serve the Qur’an across the Muslim world.
