Tajudeen Aminu Dantata is a Nigerian businessman and son of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who was the group managing director of the Dantata organization. He is the founder of Dantata Foods, a company he established in 2005 after acquiring Beiji Oil. Alhaji Tajudeen Aminu Dantata was born in Kano State, Nigeria. He received his early education at Victoria College in Alexandria, Egypt, and Manaret College in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He later obtained an Associate of Business Executive Certificate from West London College, United Kingdom. Tajudeen has also attended several professional courses in leadership, petroleum operations, and Islamic finance across the United States and Saudi Arabia. Tajudeen Dantata joined the Dantata Organization Ltd in 1988 as Group Director and rose to become the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in 1994. Under his leadership, the Dantata conglomerate expanded across agribusiness, food processing, oil and gas, real estate, logistics, and manufacturing. He is the founder of Dantata Foods & Allied Products Company Ltd and has also established several other ventures such as Tamidan Nigeria Ltd, D’Afric Global Resources Ltd, Dantata RegenAg Ltd, and Gulfstream Logistics Ltd. Alhaji Tajudeen Dantata serves as a Non-Executive Director at Jaiz Bank Plc (appointed in 2024) and has held chairmanship positions in major companies such as the Electricity Meter Company of Nigeria (EMCON), Cement Company of Northern Nigeria (CCNN), Nigeria Sugar Products Ltd, and Express Petroleum & Gas Ltd. He was honored as Industrialist of the Year 2021 by Business Day in partnership with the Nigerian Stock Exchange. His company, Dantata Foods & Allied Products Company Ltd, was also recognized for its contribution to national industrial growth and employment generation.
