At Adamu Orisha festival held in Lagos in memory of the Late Chief (Dr.) Abimbola Awoliyi, the Iya Abiye of Lagos in 1972. She was the first woman to qualify as a medical practitioner in Nigeria and at the time of her death, she was the Chief Medical Adviser to the Government of Lagos State.
