Benin–Sapele–Warri Road is Another Impact of Tinubu led-administration. The Federal Government is advancing critical transport infrastructure with the ongoing Reconstruction of the Benin–Sapele–Warri Road (Section II: Imasabor–Ibada Elume, Km 28+275 – Km 66+800, covering 38.525km) under the Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme. This strategic corridor, which links Edo and Delta States, is a major economic lifeline for the South–South region, supporting the movement of people, goods, agricultural produce, and industrial outputs, particularly from oil and gas–producing communities. The reconstruction works are aimed at restoring the road to durable standards, improving safety, reducing travel time, and easing the cost of transportation. The project reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to innovative financing models that accelerate infrastructure delivery, while partnering with the private sector to fast-track national development. Upon completion, the rehabilitated Benin–Sapele–Warri Road will enhance regional connectivity, boost commerce, and contribute significantly to economic growth and social integration across the Niger Delta and beyond.
