JUST IN: An aide to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai alleged that security operatives attempted to arrest him at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, after he arrived from Cairo. According to the aide, El-Rufai declined to accompany the officers without a formal invitation, claiming the operatives “snatched his passport from an aide.” Authorities have yet to officially respond to the allegation.
