43-year-old Shamone Gore Panter, a mother of four from Ohio, started medical school at Ohio State University after reigniting her dream of becoming a doctor during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously an assistant lecturer at Cleveland State University and a researcher at the Cleveland Clinic, she decided to pursue medicine to better educate and support patients in her community.🩺🎓
