During that argument, Webber shot and killed him. He then pulled over and asked the two passengers in the back seat to help him pull the body out of the car. They refused, got out and walked away, and flagged down a police officer just before 10:30 p.m. Webber drove off with Wells still in the car. Nearly two hours later, a resident on Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall called 911 after discovering a body in their front yard. Police tracked Webber's car to Charlottesville, Virginia, where they found him at a hospital seeking treatment for an undisclosed medical issue. He was arrested and is now awaiting extradition to Maryland, where he faces charges of first and second degree murder.
