On Saturday, I had the honour of joining family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone, the 60th birthday of Her Excellency Olufunso Amosun, alongside her prestigious installation as Yeye Moremi Oodua by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi in Ile-Ife. It was a moment filled with culture and deep significance, one that beautifully reflected her journey of impact and the honour she continues to command across Nigeria. I was particularly delighted to witness the calibre of distinguished personalities who gathered to celebrate her including respected members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) from Lagos State, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Mudashiru Obasa and renowned stateswoman Hajia Bola Shagaya among many others. Their presence spoke volumes about the esteem in which Her Excellency is held and the wide-reaching influence of her legacy. Being part of such a beautiful and historic celebration was both inspiring and humbling. As I reflect on this special occasion, I celebrate a woman of strength, elegance, and enduring relevance.
