Yobe State scholarship beneficiary and NTIC alumna, Rabiatu Adamu Saleh, PhD, is sponsoring the nursing council exams for 20 nurses across the 17 Local Government Areas.

Rabiatu, who herself benefited from the state scholarship from secondary school at NTIC through her PhD Education at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, is giving back to the community by covering these exam fees. This is her way of showing gratitude to the state Government. She has specifically chosen to sponsor female students to promote gender equity in Yobe State. Recognizing the potentials of women and the limitations they often face in accessing opportunities, Rabiatu aims to empower them. She believes that if women attain higher certifications, they will bring unique problem-solving skills and make significant impacts in their respective communities.
