POS Operators Beware 👌 A customer came to my shop to withdraw ₦96,000. I collected his ATM card, inserted it into my POS machine, and entered the amount. I handed the machine to him to input his PIN while counting the cash. After he finished, he returned the POS machine, and I saw 'Approved.' I then handed him the ₦96,000. However, upon checking my transaction history a minute later, I discovered the transaction was for ₦9,600 instead of ₦96,000. I'm unsure what happened, as I clearly entered ₦96,000. It's possible the customer changed the amount while I was counting the money.
