South Africa played a major role in bringing one of Hollywood’s most anticipated films of 2027 to life. Children of Blood and Bone, the film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel, was largely filmed in the country. Set in the mythical kingdom of Orïsha and deeply inspired by Yoruba culture, mythology and spirituality, the story follows Zélie as she fights to restore magic to her people.
