REVEALED!! “How Greed Caused Problem Between Harrysong And Five Star Music”

Harrysong was signed to KCEE’s brother, E-Money’s Five Star Music label where he released his biggest song till date, Reggae Blues. Also known as a writer and singer, Mr Songs left the label unceremoniously and threw shot, that most people believe was directed at his former label mate, KCee.

“Doing all these for everyone – both Five Star and outside the platform – is not a problem for me. Sometimes it bothers me that we are beating farther than it is. What bothers me is not the work. What bothers me is the appreciation. You are helping someone but the person feels he’s helping you.

“You write a song for someone and the person is telling you that if I don’t sing your song, you won’t blow. It’s childishness. I don’t know,” he said in an interview with Planet TV.

This lack of appreciation is believed to be the main reason for quitting the label and starting his own record label.

He also revealed that he has been responsible for writing most of the songs produced in Five Star Music.

These accusations has made many blame Five Star Music for not treating Harrysong right, however recent findings has revealed the other side of the story, which blames Harrysong’s greed for the split.

According to Broadway Africa who spoke to one of the members of Five Star Music who wanted to remain anonymous, Harrysong breached his contract agreement and was making money on the side without the knowledge of the label.

According to the source, Five Star Music, had organised an European tour for Harrysong which he honoured but he organised and arranged other performances for himself outside the knowledge of Five Star Music.

The label got to know about what they view as an ‘act of betrayal’ but kept mute until it was time for Harrysong to shoot the video for his single, Bakana. The label simply asked him to pay for it himself since he made money off shows that weren’t recurred back to the company. This angered Harrysong and he decided to part ways with them.

Harrysong has since launched his own record label called Alter Plate and has insisted that he has no beef with his former record label.

Its Young John the wicked producer! YBNL producer Young John is famous for his production on songs like “Story for the gods” and “Bobo” by Olamide, “Efejoku” and “Gbese” by Lil Kesh, “Mama” by Kiss Daniel among others. But production isn’t young Johns only talent, he sings too as shown in his single titled Gba Gbe which interestingly wasn’t produced by him and Bend Down featuring Lil Kesh that was produced by me.

Maleek Berry

Starboys in house producer, Maleek Berry has churned out hits for Wizkid, Wande Coal, Iyanya and Yemi Alade on songs like “Lagos to Soweto” “The matter” “Baby Hello” “Want to” and “Finito” when he was tasked with producing. But this talented producer isnt only contented with churning out hits for others as he is a very good singer himself.

His hit single Kontrol attests to that fact. He even has an EP that dropped in 2016 titled Last Daze of Summer.

Pheelz

Olamide’s right hand man when it comes to production has produced series of bangers for the YBNL squad. “Lagos Boys”, “Melo Melo”, “First of all” among others by Olamide, “Pick up”, “friend zone” by Adekunle Gold, Lil kesh’s “cause trouble” were all produced by him.

However Pheelz has an impressive voice and has shown so in songs like People Talk Alot, IJN and Hustle with the latter two as singles by him.

Ckay

Ckay was recently unveiled by Chocolate City but has however been churning out hits for their artists including Koker, Ice Prince and Dice Ailes on “Give Them”, “Chike” and “Miracle” respectively. Ckay however is a musician as well and has done covers of famous songs like one dance and antidote.

However, he dropped an official single titled “Nkechi Turn Up”, Co produced by him. It is a high life influence number with visuals released already.

Don Jazzy

The Don and owner of MAVIN records needs no introduction. From cooking beats for Dbanj and Mohits to cooking beats for MAVIN records signees, He has produced too many crossover hits citing “Oliver Twist” as example and more recently “Godwin” and “Do like That” by Korede Bello.

Don Jazzy doesn’t flop when he is tasked with producing a track, he comes through 10 out of 10 times, same as when he is voicing on any track. While featured on a track Don Jazzy has produced the goods as seen in songs like “Collabo” by Psquare, “Gift” and “Up 2 Sumting” by Iyanya, “Skelemba” by Olamide, “I concur” by Timaya and tracks with MAVIN artistes.

Feature Don Jazzy’s voice or his production on a track and it’s a guaranteed heat( not a spelling error).

Debby Brown/trans4mazfotography/Mystreetz magazine

To be candid, the situation in the country will sometimes make your head spin beyond your control but no matter what, you need to find your own calm button. In the quest for victory, people will make you want to bleed blood, they will sometimes want to make you wish you can be insane for a moment just to get back at them. I totally understand that feeling, you are not the only one that has been at that crossroad, just take a deep breath and let go. Don’t ever forget you are your own hero and several people behind need you to lead them by example.

Checkout The 7 Most Controversial Celebrities Of 2016, Number 1 Is Really Painful

It’s undeniable that controversy and popularity go hand in hand.

Something as harmless as a picture shared on social media could become so controversial and talked about for months to come.

It’s been undeniably a tough 12 months for the celebrities on this list. Below are our most controversial people of 2016:

1. Toyin Aimakhu

Toyin Aimakhu with her former lover Seun Egbegbe

For Nigerian actress Toyin Aimakhu it started with her marriage scandal with estranged husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

She accused him of constantly cheating with her colleagues but it didn’t take her a month before she got involved with Ebony boss, Seun Egbegbe.

Their breakup was even messier than her marital drama. Seun reportedly seized her phones at a movie location and was accused of kidnapping her too. The two later engaged in a war of words on social media and in several interviews.

Actress Toyin Aimakhu with Ahmed Mayowa Shukurat

Let’s also not forget the late Mayowa Ahmed fund raising saga.

Moved by late ovarian cancer patient, Ahmed Mayowa Shukurat’s story, actress Toyin Aimakhu visited Mayowa and helped solicit funds on her behalf.

When reports emerged suggesting that the campaign was orchestrated by Ahmed Mayowa Shukurat’s family to deceive Nigerians, Toyin Aimakhu stormed LUTH with police officers and that lead to another lengthy social media onslaught.

2. Kemi Olunloyo

Kemi Olunloyo has come out hard in Linda Ikeji

3. Freeze

Daddy Freeze.

Always one to speak his mind, Freeze has been in the news for different controversies this year alone.

He was rumoured to have been sacked by the management of Cool FM following his public feud with Basketmouth which he tagged malicious.

The media personality has since been hogging the headlines with his unfiltered comments on politics, religion, love and marriage.

He also owns a blog where he posts his opinions on the burning topic of the day and is commonly known as a social critic.

4. Toke Makinwa

Thanks to her marital issues being made public and the occasional rambling on YouTube, Toke Makinwa almost snatched the controversial spotlight from Kemi Olunloyo.

This year alone saw the TV host and Vlogger trend for several reasons.

First, it started with her misconstrued advice to single young ladies, then her releasing a tell-all book, “On Becoming”, where she talks about getting a sexually transmitted disease from her husband, her husband’s mistress and her failed marriage.
5. Emeka Ike

Emeka, Emma Ike and daughter.

2016 was undeniably the year of controversial Emeka Ike.

The two constantly threw shots at each other on social media even dragging Ovation publisher, Dele Momodu, into the mess.

The singer even went ahead to release a song calling Dele Momodu his “boy”.

7. Wizkid

And then Wizkid decided to bless fans with his trolling of popular blogger, Linda Ikeji.

The beef between the two started when Linda Ikeji’s Blog reported Wizkid had been evicted out of his Lekki home after his rent had expired.
