  Wizkid just announced the dates for his Starboy homecoming concert this December via Twitter. The music concert which would be a 2-day event would be held at two different locations in Lagos : Victoria Island and the mainland on the 30th of December and the 1st of January, 2017. Venues are Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island and Fela Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos.    

Some weeks back, Made Men Music Group (MMMG) record label singer Tekno was rumoured to be getting set to sign a global record deal with Sony Music. According to the reports, his deal is said to be worth more than Davido’s. Ubi Franklin and Paul O. These reports have been confirmed as Tekno has just signed and dusted the deal. Singer Tekno last week says his love for actress Genevieve Nnaji is never going to die. Apparently, he meant it. Tekno, who turns 24 in December has now released a painting he did in honor of the love of his life, Genevieve Nnanji who turns 38 next year. Nigerian Comedienne, Emmanuella has been honoured by the Australian Government with an award for her outstanding comedy shows. Emmanuella was crowned the Princess of Comedy by the Australian Government while Uncle Mark Angel himself was also Honoured with a leadership Award. She has become the the youngest recipients of the Afro-Australia Music & Movie Awards (AAMMA). The event took place in Sydney, Australia. She won 2 awards – Best new comedienne & Princess of Comedy. The AAMMA AWARDS was established by Scrim Entertainment (owned by Daniel Okoduwa) to celebrate Artists of African origin irrespective of borders or National identities. Cyril Efobi, a Nigerian man who works as a taxi driver in North Carolina US, was shot dead by an unknown gunman on November 8th. Cyril who moved from Nigeria to the US over 30 years ago, had on the day he was killed, closed early in the evening in order to go home and watch the US presidential election.  After exchanging banters with some colleagues, he packed up his laptop and stepped out of the office. A few minutes later, one of his colleagues heard gunshots outside the building.  The police was called in and Cyril's body was found lying just by the door. He had died from gunshot wounds.  He was 56. The police is yet to make any arrest. The surveillance camera however caught the alleged gunman during and after the attack.  Cyril moved from Nigeria to Raleigh about 30 years ago to further his education. A Kenyan bar attendant on Monday was apprehended by the Kiawara Police for stabbing her estranged husband to death after he caught her with another man. The woman identified as Alice Wangu had separated from her now deceased husband, Samuel Mwangi following several domestic violence issues. The husband, who had relocated into a new apartment over their marital issues, decided to pay her a visit on Monday evening, but was shocked to find her with a new man which prompted a violent confrontation between the three. During the confrontation, an angry Alice picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her estranged husband near the heart, killing him instantly before she then alerted neighbors and even confessed to the crime.
