Great! Ycee Becomes The First African Artist To Host Show On BBC Radio 1 Xtra

On sunday, rapper Ycee became the first African artist to host a radio show on the BBC Radio 1 Xtra.

He sat in for DJ Edu, and hosted the Destination Africa show, where he exclusively premiered two singles – ‘Juice’ and ‘Bubbly’ – off his debut EP ‘The First Wave’.

Ycee made his first appearance on Destination Africa with DJ Edu in January 2017, during his first ever UK tour. The show had listeners from all over the United Kingdom, including Ycee fans from Africa, who tuned in online.
