THE KARDASHEV SCALE: MEASURING A CIVILIZATION'S POWER

The Kardashev Scale, proposed by Soviet astronomer Nikolai Kardashev in 1964, ranks a civilization's technological advancement based on its energy consumption: Type I: A civilization that harnesses all energy available on its home planet, including solar, wind, and geothermal. Think global unity and sustainable tech. Earth is still a Type 0, but we're inching closer. Type II: A civilization that controls the entire energy output of its star, possibly via megastructures like Dyson Spheres. This is interstellar-level mastery. Type III: A galactic civilization, tapping the energy of an entire galaxy. Imagine billions of stars and planets working in sync - pure sci-fi! Some speculate about Type IV (universal energy control) or Type V (multiversal), but these are theoretical leaps.
