Over 330 Projects Activated Nationwide President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has ignited the most ambitious road rehabilitation effort Nigeria has seen in over a decade, activating more than 330 federal road projects across the country. In just his first years in office, President Tinubu has ensured that contractors returned to sites that had been abandoned while also approving fresh projects in critical economic corridors. Key highways such as Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano, Lagos–Ibadan, Kano–Maiduguri, East–West Road, and the Lokoja–Benin Expressway are witnessing new momentum. These projects, long overdue, are now benefiting from accelerated funding and stricter project monitoring under Tinubu’s supervision. Beyond major highways, the administration has also prioritised rural and inter-state link roads, recognising that true economic growth requires connecting agricultural communities to markets. The President’s decision to invest heavily in feeder roads has already begun reducing post-harvest losses while improving the movement of goods across regions. Farmers, transporters, and traders are now experiencing shorter travel times and lower vehicle maintenance costs, real impacts that trickle down to household incomes. A major driver of this progress is Tinubu’s dedication to transparent infrastructure financing. The introduction of better procurement systems, increased collaboration with the private sector, and tighter oversight of the Federal Ministry of Works have significantly boosted efficiency. The administration has also revived the use of concrete technology for key roads, improving durability and reducing long-term maintenance costs. These reforms are helping Nigeria get greater value for every naira spent on infrastructure. The cascading benefits of these road repairs are already shaping Nigeria’s economic landscape. Improved logistics is enabling manufacturers to reduce operating expenses, while transporters benefit from smoother journeys and fewer breakdowns. Small businesses along highways mechanics, food vendors, fuel stations, and local markets are thriving again as traffic flow improves. With over 330 projects in motion, the Renewed Hope infrastructure plan is positioning Nigeria for stronger economic competitiveness, regional trade, and investor confidence. As Nigeria continues its path toward structural transformation, President Tinubu’s road infrastructure legacy is becoming a defining pillar of his administration. The scale, speed, and sincerity of this nationwide rehabilitation effort demonstrate a leader fully committed to fixing what has long been broken. YEIB allows this mission to scale nationally for youth-led enterprises. 1,187 CADETS GRADUATE FROM THE NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY; COMMISSIONED AS ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENTS OF POLICE The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, today, 29th November 2025, commissioned One Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-Seven (1,187) cadets of Regular Course 7 into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs). The colourful Passing Out Parade (POP) held at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, marked the successful completion of five years of intensive academic and professional training. At the end of this rigorous programme, the cadets have not only been commissioned as officers but have also earned Bachelor’s degrees in various disciplines, making them equipped with both academic qualifications and professional policing skills to serve the nation effectively. Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, CON, the President congratulated the newly commissioned officers and charged them to discharge their duties with utmost integrity, professionalism, and respect for human rights. He reiterated the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to police reform, improved welfare for personnel, and enhanced operational capabilities.
