Man jailed in Kirirkiri prison for stealing formula to feed his newborn baby

A 28-year-old man, Nurudeen Sulaimon, has been arrested and jailed for allegedly stealing formula worth N45,000 from a supermarket to feed his newborn baby who was crying for food. It is alleged that Sulaimon went to a supermarket and stole some tins of SMA Gold infant formula but his action was caught on the supermarket's CCTV. He was apprehended on his way out of the supermarket by the store's security men and handed to the police.
He was arrested and taken to the police station. At the station, he begged for forgiveness saying that he had a newborn baby who hadn't had any food to eat except water.

 

He said his wife had given birth to the baby last week Saturday, but wasn't producing enough breast milk to feed the baby, he said they tried giving the baby water on that fateful day but the water didn't seem to soothe the baby so he went out to get some formula to feed it.

 

He was charged to court for theft but he pleaded not guilty.

 

The presiding Magistrate, Mr A. A. Fashola granted Sulamon bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. He was remanded in prison at Kirikiri until he perfected his bail.

 

The case was adjourned till April 27.

Mother arrested after allowing 3 children to get tattoos

A 31 year old mother instructed her three children who are all under 13 to get tattoos on their ankles. The tattoos were inked on the minors by their  after their mother's boyfriend’s brother who is a registered sex offender to give them tattoos.
According to KTBC, the children’s father noticed the tattoos after he picked them up from their mother's house..

The kids got tattoos of an infinity sign, a cross and a heart with an arrow through it. Their father immediately reported it to the Police.
When asked by police, the children said their mum told them to get the tattoos but not to whine or cry about it and that she was also allegedly drunk when she gave consent.

The children’s father is now seeking for primary custody.

Weir was arrested for tattoos prohibited for minors, which is a misdemeanor.

She has been arrested in the past for 3 Driving Under the Influence, 1 driving without a valid license, 1 resisting arrest and 2 public intoxication.

One dead another injured in horror Lamborghini smash ›

A £200K Lamborghini belonging to Russian MMA fighter, Adam 'Beard' Yandiev was involved in a smash which tore the car apart killing an occupant instantly while another remains in a critical condition.

The driver, 43-year-old mechanic Dmitry Shcherbatov, was killed instantly when the car smashed into a large lamppost in Moscow. The passenger reportedly suffered a broken leg and head injuries, and remains in a coma in hospital.

The man pictured above, Godwin Tonte, died on Monday March 28th from severe burns he sustained after a gas explosion that occurred at his place of work at Niger Biscuit Factory located in Apapa, Lagos on Sunday March 20th. Godwin who is the only child of his parents, had gone to his duty post that morning when one of the gas in the factory exploded, which engulfed him, burning his entire body.

Two others were also burnt. He was rushed to the Tincan Island Hospital in Apapa where doctors worked to save his life. He however died on Easter Monday from complications from the injury. May his soul rest in peace Amen. A photo of him in hospital before he died after the cut...

Graphics photo of cultist members fight over a girl in Sapele, Delta State

Two members of a cult group in Sapele, Delta State on Tuesday, March 29 engaged in a deadly fight over a girl. The incident occurred after one of the men identified as Raraye allegedly started hitting on the girlfriend of his fellow cult member, known as Patrick a.k.a 'Bagger (Vikkins).

According to Ono Okeh, Patrick (pictured above) had repeatedly warned Raraye to stay away from his girlfriend, a warning he chose to ignore. On that fateful day, the two confronted each other with weapons and a fight ensued. Patrick hacked Raraye on the back with a machete. When the wounded man attempted to flee, Patrick cut his hand almost chopping it off.

Raraye (pictured on the hospital bed) is presently receiving treatment in a hospital but there is a possibility he might lose his hand.

According to this week's Life & Style magazine, Drake and Rihanna are expecting their first child together...lol. If only this was true. Life & Style claimed they spoke to an inside who confirmed the two decided to make a baby together.

"We know that Drake and Rihanna have been hanging out on her tour. While she was in Miami performing her "ANTI" tour earlier this month, Drake surprised the crowd by jumping on stage with Rihanna to duet a song. There was a lot of hugging going on when the two weren't singing."
