The Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear (CNEN) recently signed a MOU with CNNC aiming to jointly advance nuclear environmental protection and radioactive waste management in Brazil. Under the agreement, the two parties will carry out extensive and sustained cooperation in radioactive waste treatment, transportation and disposal,etc. CNEN noted that the collaboration will enable Brazil to draw on China’s experience in modern radioactive waste treatment and final disposal facilities.
