Yesterday, we concluded a productive TWO-DAY WORKSHOP on “Effective Legislature for Impactful Governance” with my esteemed colleagues at the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly. We came together at Jagz Hotel, Ibadan, to deepen our knowledge, strengthen our legislative capacity, and recommit to the ideals of good governance. The workshop featured insightful sessions on Legislative Oversight and Accountability, Checks and Balances between Arms of Government, Budget and Fiscal Governance and Anti-Corruption Tools within the Legislature I am proud of the dedication of our Honourable Members, and I believe the outcomes of this workshop will greatly enhance our performances as lawmakers. Together, we remain committed to delivering quality representation and supporting the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in building a better Oyo State.
